Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that his team misses Frenchman Christopher Nkunku a lot.
Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that his team is not sufficiently equipped to achieve their goals this season.
Chelsea miss Nkunku
Before this weekend’s derby against Fulham, the Argentine technician indicated that he was already looking into the transfer window plans for the month of January. His priority objective is to strengthen himself in attack, where he has targeted numerous gaps.
At a press conference, “Poche” indicated that the defection of Christopher Nkunku during the off-season due to injury greatly penalized his training. “It is true that the football (that we play) is very dynamic and we must now work on the recovery of (injured players), like (Christopher) Nkunku, to help us score more goals and be more solid”did he declare.
“But of course, we are already starting to work (in January),” concluded the former PSG coach. In light of these statements, it seems obvious that Todd Boehly still plans to put his hand in his pocket. As a reminder, between the last two transfer windows, the American owner has already spent around 970 million euros.
