Three points which allow Xabi Alonso’s men to take the lead in the standings before the clash between RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich (6:30 p.m.).
In the other matches of the afternoon, Union Berlin fell by the narrowest of margins against promoted Heindenheim thanks to the only goal of the match from Jan-Niklas Beste. Eintracht Frankfurt lost on the Wolfsburg pitch, while Stuttgart, without a goal from Guirassy, and Borussia Mönchengladbach took the three points away, respectively in Cologne and Bochum.
