The end of the tunnel for Martin Terrier?

Injured for nine months after a cruciate ligament rupture, Martin Terrier will be in the Rennes squad to face Nantes this Sunday.

It’s been nine months since Martin Terrier never set foot on a football field again. After a 2021-2022 season which saw him explode in the jersey of Rennais Stadium, the French player seriously injured his knee while he had a very good start to the season (12 goals, 5 assists in 22 matches). Victim of a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right knee, the former Lyonnais has been absent since, but will finally be able to return to the Ligue 1 pitches, perhaps even against FC Nantes this Sunday.

The news is good for Terrier

This Friday, Bruno Génésio gave news of his attacker, and it is rather good, just like for Arnaud Kalimuendoinjured since the beginning of September. “Martin and Arnaud are competitive to be in the group on Sunday. Concerning Enzo (The Fairy) this will not be possible for Sunday. We are doing everything so that he can return in good condition, Thursday or the following Sunday. He will be the only player who will not apply”confided the Rennes coach at a press conference.

Currently 9th in Ligue 1, the Rennes are struggling to take off at the start of the season and could really use some serious reinforcements on the attacking front.
