Strasbourg welcomes Lens to open the 7th day of Ligue 1, this Friday (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Alsatian club.

After a valuable victory in an eastern derby against Metz (1-0), the Racing Club de Strasbourg will try to confirm this Friday evening to achieve a good operation. A success could indeed allow Patrick Vieira’s team to join Brest at the top of the championship, at least temporarily. But for that, Strasbourg will have to put in a big performance to overcome Lens.

A match that Patrick Vieira approaches in an outsider’s posture. “I think we will be under a lot more pressure and we will have to be good. The important thing is to try to find the solutions. I think Lens will come after us very high and will be very aggressive. You will have to be good at decision-making and the technical aspect, try to be dangerous in phases of the game. You will have to put in all the ingredients. Lens is not in its place, it’s a Champions League team, with automatisms. There is a very clear style of play, a lot of intensity in their game and we will have to be present in all areas to respond. We’re going to have to put out a great match. »

To try to play the perfect match, Vieira could rely on an eleven identical to the one lined up against Metz. The Angelo-Emegha-Bakwa trio is expected in attack, as are Diarra, Doukouré and Deminguet in the midfield. Sels will obviously be lined up in goal. Fila is the only player to miss this match on the Alsatian side.

The expected composition of Strasbourg : Salts – Senaya, Nyamsi, Perrin, Delaine – Diarra, Doukouré, Deminguet – Angelo, Emegha, Bakwa.
