Long unwanted at Paris Saint-Germain, Layvin Kurzawa could find color again.

The misfortune of one person makes the happiness of others. Layvin Kurzawa is the perfect illustration of this. The Parisian, pushed towards the exit during the last summer transfer window, could make his return to Luis Enrique’s plans. Indeed, he should benefit from the long absence of Nuno Mendes but also from the fragility of Lucas Hernandez.

The Portuguese full-back will not return before 2024. Out since the start of the season due to an injury, Mendes will ultimately have to undergo a new intervention which will keep him away from the field for another four months. While Lucas Hernandez will not be able to play all the matches, especially having just returned from a ruptured cruciate ligament.

A chance for Kurzawa

This will therefore push the Spanish coach to really think about the left-back position. Even if the Marquinhos solution was temporarily tested on the left and Achraf Hakimi can also help out occasionally, the real surprise that emerges is that of a return of Layvin Kurzawa in the game. Undesirable at PSG for many years, the full-back left could get a chance again.

The Team as The Parisian affirm that Kurzawa could become a real alternative, the Ile-de-France daily recalling that his friendly appearances this summer had been rather interesting. Loaned last season to Fulham, the player returned to the capital during the last summer transfer window, and will reach the end of his contract next June.
