Not in Luis Enrique’s plans, Hugo Ekitike should leave Paris Saint-Germain in the next winter transfer window.

Arriving at PSG during the 2022 summer transfer window from Stade de Reims, Hugo Ekitike has never managed to establish himself within the Parisian attack (32 matches, four goals and four assists). After an unsatisfactory season, the 21-year-old was pushed out by the capital club this summer.

However, wanting to join England, the former Rémois refused to sign up with Eintracht Frankfurt. He even almost derailed the transfer of Randal Kolo Muani in the other direction. Since then, the Parisian club has made him pay. Coming into play on the first day against Lorient, the striker was then called up by Luis Enrique for the other two matches in August.

His departure still considered

Since then, the native of Reims has remained in the stands for the following four Parisian matches. He didn’t even make the roster for the Champions League. The position of the Parisian leaders is therefore clear: they no longer want the player. A transfer, or at least a loan, would therefore be possible for him this winter.

If Hugo Ekitike does not want to experience a blank season, he will have to find an option during the next winter transfer market. According to the latest information from Loïc Tanzi, “ a solution is already being worked on for the month of January » on the side of the capital club. It now remains to be seen in which championship and club he will land.
