Filmed repeating a hostile chant against OM, four PSG players were summoned by the LFP Disciplinary Commission, which will also look into the homophobic incidents observed in the stands.

The ax could fall for PSG. “Seized by the reports of the match delegate and taking into account the nature of the comments of certain Paris Saint-Germain supporters and certain of its players, the Disciplinary Committee decides to summon Paris Saint-Germain, as well as the Ousmane players DEMBÉLÉ, Achraf HAKIMI, Randal KOLO MUANI and Layvin KURZAWA for the next session of the Disciplinary Commission, which will be held on Thursday October 5 »indicates this Wednesday the League in a press release.

The disciplinary body of the LFP will therefore be interested next week in the homophobic chants heard on Sunday evening during the meeting between PSG and OM (4-0). For these facts, the capital club notably risks a closure of the stands, because the Disciplinary Commission can only pronounce collective sanctions in this type of case, which concerns the supporters.

The four players concerned took up an insulting chant against OM during the post-match celebrations. This case is reminiscent of that of Taye Taiwo, who received a one-match suspension plus two suspended matches and a 20,000 euro fine after singing an insulting song against PSG. A sanction of the same order seems possible for Dembélé, Kolo Muani, Hakimi and Kurzawa.
