Aulas, the dark accusations

Did Olympique Lyonnais (heavily) pay an Internet user to send certain messages on social networks? This is what the site ensures Olympique-et-Lyonnaiswhich reveals that the journalist David Barbet was paid by the Rhone club, to relay the good word, that is to say that of Jean-Michel Aulas.

This journalist who collaborates in particular with RTBF is a declared supporter of OL. And most of the Rhone internet users had noticed that his positions very often went in the direction of the direction. “The string was particularly thick and counterproductive, no one is fooled by this type of process”confides a former close friend of JMA to the site Olympique-et-Lyonnais.

It is one thing for a tweeter to be fed information by the management of a club, and is not limited to OL. That he is paid is another, and David Barbet would have received 4,000 euros excluding tax per month, or 12,000 euros in total for three months of action, in 2022. Last spring, Jean-Michel Aulas would have liked to repeat this operation, and would have even thought about developing this practice “further”, but it was at that moment that the former boss of Les Gones was pushed out by John Textor.
