The new generation is taking over. While FC Barcelona has made a convincing start to the season, leading La Liga with 16 points on the clock in 6 days, a young nugget has just signed his first professional contract with the Catalan club. And not least. It is indeed Shane Kluivert, one of the sons of the legendary Patrick Kluivert.
The latter, who spent time with Barça between 1998 and 2004, left behind Justin Kluivert, now at Bournemouth in the Premier League and therefore Shane, Barcelona’s new darling. At just 16 years old, the Dutchman’s son became a professional footballer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the age of 9. Hopefully we’ll see it on lawns in the future.
