Chelsea: a former interim coach leaves the club

Things are happening behind the scenes. If Chelsea have always been a club accustomed to agitation, these last few months have nonetheless been exceptional. Like last season which saw Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Bruno Saltor then Frank Lampard succeed one another on the London bench. Since then, Mauricio Pochettino has been in charge and the start of the Premier League campaign is already difficult (14th in the ranking). But among these names mentioned, the least flashy of them, Saltor, secretly left the Blues as exclusively claimed The Telegraph.

Indeed, while Chelsea had announced that Graham Potter’s former right-hand man would work with the current Argentine tactician, Bruno Saltor would have finally left less than 4 months after his association with Pochettino. The club did not communicate his departure, but reportedly paid the 42-year-old’s contract in full. Additional expenses for Todd Boehly and his team who had spent more than €20 million to snatch Graham Potter from Brighton, a record. Another questionable management of the Blues board.
