Having gone into exile in Mexico, Kheira Hamraoui has decided to settle scores with PSG and France.

Left free by Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, Kheira Hamraoui has recently signed up with Club America, in Mexico, where she wishes to evolve in “a healthy environment”, after two complicated years in the capital French and especially the terrible attack of which she was the victim in November 2021.

A page is therefore turning for the 33-year-old midfielder, who has decided to reveal her truths about her time in the Parisian club. “Some of my ex-teammates and club employees know to what extent I was mistreated by PSG after my attack. That didn’t stop me from fighting to get back on the field and regain my starting place.”explained the French international during an interview for AFP.

“PSG did me a lot of psychological harm”

And Kheira Hamraoui added: “I can say it today, PSG did me a lot of psychological harm and I was disappointed by this club. You are aware that the sports advisor of two of the main PSG players (Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani, now at OL) was indicted, in connection with my assault case. This new file has shed light on the pressures exerted behind the scenes by certain people to try to remove me. »

The former Barcelona player then attacked the Bleues, with whom she did not “no more hope” to play, and to France, where, according to her, “we don’t like victims”. “My dream is to return there one day, even if I no longer have any hope. I was excluded before the World Cup for so-called “sporting” reasons. she lamented. Those who follow women’s football and its French team know what to expect. There too, one day, we will perhaps discover the underside of the cards of my eviction. I am convinced that if I had been Swedish, English or Spanish, I would never have been neglected by my federation or my club. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: in France, we don’t like victims. »
