Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille face off for a highly anticipated Classic this Sunday (8:45 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the capital club.

The two most popular clubs in France have experienced mixed fortunes this week, to say the least. When Paris Saint-Germain enjoyed a gala victory against Borussia Dortmund for their entry into the Champions League (2-0), Olympique de Marseille went through a crisis as violent as it was sudden, following a meeting -you very tense between the club management and groups of supporters.

But on the green rectangle, the Marseille club revolted by securing a promising and spectacular draw on the field of Ajax Amsterdam (3-3). In the ranks of PSG, there is therefore no question of approaching this Classic as a formality. Luis Enrique knows the importance of the poster. And this should be reflected in his choices to concoct his starting XI.

PSG: an attractive eleven for a gala match

Once again, Paris Saint-Germain will rely on a 4-3-3 formation in which certain roles will be hybrid. The irremovable Kylian Mbappé will obviously be present, but who will accompany the French world champion? The dilemma arises for the center forward position. Luis Enrique must decide. In balance with Gonçalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani should continue, just like Ousmane Dembélé. In the middle, the trio composed of Zaire-Emery, Ugarte and Vitinha offered enough guarantees for this type of big match. The defensive line will be classic, with Hakimi, captain Marquinhos, Skriniar and Lucas Hernandez. Donnarumma will hold his place in the goals.

The expected lineup for PSG : Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Skriniar, L. Hernandez – Zaire-Emery, Ugarte, Vitinha – O. Dembélé, Kolo Muani (or G. Ramos), Mbappé.
