The “Klassieker” between Ajax Amsterdam and Feyenoord Rotterdam on Sunday did not come to an end.
Ajax is in crisis! A week after a worrying defeat on the lawn of Twente (3-1), the Lancers did not go to the end of their match against Feyenoord, Sunday during the 6e Eredivisie day. This was due to an angry reaction from Amsterdam supporters, who threw smoke bombs onto the pitch, forcing the referee to put an end to the proceedings.
We then only played the 55e minute at the Johan Cruyff Arena, but the mass had long been said in this “Klassieker” between two emblematic teams of the Dutch championship. Opponent of OM in the Europa League last Thursday (3-3), the capital club had actually already conceded three goals, signed Santiago Gimenez (9e18e) and Igor Paixao (37e).
A scenario which infuriated the Ajacid fans, whose throwing projectiles caused a temporary interruption of the match. Before, therefore, its definitive cessation. The anger did not subside as individuals then tried to force entry to the stadium. Not sure that such behavior helps Ajax, thirteenth without counting this match which it risks losing on the green carpet…
Scene of chaos at the entrance to the Johan Cruyff Arena, where Ajax supporters try to force the stadium doors… 😳
As a reminder, the match against Feyenoord (0-3) was stopped, then suspended, following smoke bombs. 😰
