The 6th day of the Premier League continued this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with a poster pitting Brentford against Everton. At the Brentford Community Stadium in London, Thomas Frank’s men hoped to revive after the defeat conceded against Newcastle last weekend. Same story for the Toffees, defeated by Arsenal the previous day. A meeting which also started ideally for the visitors. Buoyed by a goal from Abdoulaye Doucouré, Everton opened the scoring from the first moments (0-1, 6th).

Dominant, Jordan Pickford’s teammates were nevertheless joined in the process by Mathias Jensen (1-1, 29th). Clinging to the break, the Toffees finally regained the advantage after returning from the locker room thanks to a goal from defender James Tarkowski (1-2, 67th), before Dominic Calvert-Lewin secured his team’s first success this season. With this victory, Everton moves up to 15th place. For its part, Brentford is in 12th place.
