The Magpies are on the verge of securing Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

A year and a half after his arrival in Newcastle, from Olympique Lyonnais, Bruno Guimaraes is enjoying himself with the Magpies. And the feeling is mutual.

The Brazilian midfielder, 25, has reached an agreement to extend his contract, journalist Fabrizio Romano indicated on Saturday.

Guimaraes is expected to extend his lease until June 30, 2028. The monthly salary is estimated at 550,000 euros and the departure clause at 115 million euros.
