After two good draws against Monaco and Marseille, Nantes offered themselves a second victory in a row this Saturday against Lorient.

La Beaujoire shook and vibrated this Saturday as part of the 6e day of Ligue 1, with no less than eight goals observed and more or less celebrated. Faced with Lorient, in fact, the Nantais made their mark without, however, securing their backs. With a river score but oh so precious at stake (5-3).

The Canaries, however, complicated their task by conceding the opening score at the start of the match to young Kroupi, only 17 years old (0-1, 6e). Abline, however, had the good idea to respond before the break (1-1, 42e), which allowed his team to gain the upper hand as soon as they returned from the locker room, thanks to Comert (2-1, 46e).

Staggering, the FCN thought it was definitely taking cover with a masterful free kick from Mohamed (3-1, 55e). Only Faivre revived the Merlus at the start of the last quarter of an hour (3-2, 76e). Rebelote after Mollet’s goal in money time, following a small festival from Simon (4-2, 83e) – Tosin having quickly responded in turn (4-3, 85e).

Insufficient, however, to deprive the Nantes residents of a great victory at home, with a penalty converted by Simon (5-3, 90th+8) as a finale and the reward of a nice shift in the standings, from 15e in sixth place. Temporarily of course. With two fewer units on the clock, the Bretons find themselves 13e.
