BL: Bayern Munich atomizes Bochum, Dortmund and Leipzig escape, Hoffenheim continues

The fifth day of the Bundesliga continued this Saturday with five matches scheduled for 3:30 p.m. In front of their home crowd at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich made short work of Bochum (7-0). Buoyed by the achievements of Choupo-Moting (4th), Kane (12th, 53rd, 88th), De Ligt (29th), Sané (38th) and Tel (81st), the Bavarians returned to victory after conceding a draw against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. Thanks to this success, Thomas Tuchel’s men regain the lead in the Bundesliga. In the other meetings of the afternoon, Hoffenheim won (2-0) on the pitch of Union Berlin thanks to achievements by Kramaric (22nd, sp) and Beier (38th).

For its part, RB Leipzig snatched victory on the Gladbach field. At the start of the last quarter of an hour, Timo Werner found the fault and thus allowed his team to win. Defeated by Paris Saint-Germain in the middle of the week, Borussia Dortmund found a smile again against Wolfsburg (1-0) thanks to a goal from Marco Reus in the last half hour of play (69th). Finally, Augsburg, carried by Demirovic’s double, defeated Mainz (2-1). In the standings, Bayern occupies first place, just ahead of VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim. At the bottom, Mainz is bottom, tied on points with Darmstadt, seventeenth, and Cologne, sixteenth.
