Bad times for OM, heavily condemned this week by the Aix-en-Provence Court of Appeal.
In the midst of a crisis, OM has had one series of disappointments these days. This week, the Aix-en-Provence Court of Appeal increased the burden on the Marseille club by firmly condemning it in the case between it and its former coach and manager José Anigo.
Dismissed for serious misconduct in 2016, following an indictment as part of the investigation into the unclear past transfers of the Olympians, the latter had won his case before the industrial tribunal in April 2019 while he contested his dismissal.
Finally acquitted of the acts of complicity and concealment of abuse of corporate assets by an organized gang for which he was accused, the one who coached OM three times (2001, 2004, 2013-2014), while being an executive in the organization chart from 2005 to 2014, will have had the last word in his fight against OM. The Marseille club will soon have to pay him compensation of 3.2 million euros.
