Performances which do not go unnoticed by the managers of Atletico de Madrid and certain former players. Former Colchoneros captain Diego Godin spoke this week on the case of the Portuguese attacking midfielder.
For the Uruguayan legend, Joao Felix failed to make an impression within the Madrid club because he did not understand what Atletico Madrid was. “II have nothing against Joao Félix, I don’t know him. We cannot talk about his success at Barça after two matches. At Atletico he could never understand what the locker room meant. The group is above any individual,” did he declare.
The new number 14 of the Blaugranas has been full of confidence since his first steps with the club. Starting in the last two matches, the 23-year-old found the way three times and delivered an assist.

Joao Felix is on track to perform well this season at FC Barcelona. Xavi Hernandez’s style of play and the DNA of the club suit him perfectly. However, if he were to seduce his management, not sure that the Catalan board would negotiate with Atletico to buy him permanently.
