Permanently recruited by Arsenal in 2021 in exchange for €40 million (bonus included), Martin Odegaard is enjoying his time in London. Captain of the Gunners, the Norwegian has finally found a place to thrive (27 goals, 15 assists in 112 matches) after his failure at Real Madrid. Under contract until 2025, the 24-year-old midfielder has just extended his lease.
“Our captain Martin Odegaard has signed a new long-term contract with the club”, announces Arsenal in a press release. And if the English club does not specify the duration of the contract, the British media agree to indicate that Odegaard is now linked to the Gunners until 2028.
