The daily L’Équipe revealed this Thursday the identity of the next broadcaster of the English championship.

While waiting to know the identity of the Ligue 1 broadcasters for the next batches distributed by the LFP, football fans will be set for TV broadcasts of the Premier League. Current holder of the rights to the English championship, Canal + has made a big move since the encrypted channel will keep this competition for the next few years.

According to information from L’Équipe, Canal + has extended its Premier League broadcasting rights until the 2027-28 season. Great satisfaction in the ranks of the group, which was already contractually linked to the “PL” until 2025. L’Équipe specifies that the lease linking Canal + to the Premier League would reach an amount of around 75 million annual euros.
