It was a scandal that caused a stir in the Spanish capital. Last week, four players from the Real Madrid training center, suspected of having filmed a 16-year-old girl without her knowledge and then broadcast the video content of a sexual nature on social networks, were arrested. In the process, the Spanish police opened an investigation in response to the complaint filed by the victim’s mother.
After being released following their interrogation, the three suspects playing with the C team of the Madrid reserve as well as a fourth player from Castilla, author of the broadcast of the video content, had a meeting with Spanish justice on November 8, as informed El País. According to the Spanish media, the members of the Madrid academy presumed guilty will try to defend themselves before the court of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in the Canary Islands, where the events took place. As a reminder, Real Madrid declared via a press release, on the day of the arrests, “that he will be aware of the facts and will adopt appropriate measures”.
