Ole Gunnar Solskjær did not swallow the pill. Dismissed from his duties as coach of Manchester United in November 2021 after a crisis of results, the Norwegian coach had been the subject of numerous criticisms in the press, in particular on his mode of operation with his players. In an interview given to The Athletic this Wednesday, OGS reviewed several subjects and notably took the opportunity to empty its bag and reminded that it was not the only one responsible.

I was also disappointed when others said they wouldn’t play or practice because they wanted to force their departure. After I left, there were media reports about how I had treated certain players, which were complete lies.»
