The winner of the Coupe de France did not fail in his reunion with the European scene. Invited this Thursday evening on the pitch of Union Saint-Gilloise, Toulouse FC was able to obtain a point, holding their Belgian host in check with a score of 1-1.

Diligent and disciplined in the first act, the Violets took this first in the Europa League in the right direction, completing the initial act with the advantage on the scoreboard thanks to a penalty obtained by Magri and transformed by Dallinga (1- 0.45e+3).

The Reds in control

Weary for the Haut-Garonnais, the Belgians were able to get back on track in the second half, on a personal number from Amoura (1-1, 69e), which got the better of the vigilance of an otherwise solid Remains on its line. The result is no less interesting for TFC, in a group already dominated by Liverpool, who at the same time overthrew LASK in Austria (1-3). This is thanks to Darwin (56e), Diaz (63e) and Salah (88e).
