If all eyes were focused on the Parc des Princes with Paris Saint-Germain who hosted Borussia Dortmund (2-0), several European big names also entered the fray. In particular, AC Milan and Newcastle (0-0) who neutralized each other.

With the objective of defending its title, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City won at home against Red Star Belgrade (3-1). On their land, the residents of the Etihad Stadium found the fault through Julian Alvarez (47th, 60th) and Rodri (73rd) in the second half.
