At the final whistle, Luis Enrique did not fail to express his satisfaction. The Spanish coach even said that he had nothing to reproach his team, because they were at full strength from start to finish. The players, too, expressed their happiness after this successful entry into the most beautiful competition.

Luis Enrique (PSG coach): “What I liked the most was the consistency throughout the match. I thought we were better than them. We won the match thanks to possession (..) The whole team played well, it was a deserved victory. We were excellent against a good Dortmund team, although it is true that we could have scored more. Our supporters are incredible whether we win or lose, they are always there singing (…) I am happy with the Kolo Muani match. It takes him time to get to know his teammates but he had a very good match. We have incredible players even on the bench. »

Vitinha (PSG midfielder on Canal+): “It was an important match to start the Champions League, a competition that we really enjoy playing. It’s a good victory. And a good start to the competition. My pass for Hakimi? That’s the game. It worked. Me, Hakimi and the whole team did well and that’s important. Support from fans? Yes, it is decisive. Even when we don’t win, we know they are with us. It will be decisive this season, because that’s how we will go far.”

Edin Terzic (Borussia Dortmund coach): »We weren’t aggressive enough in the middle. We lost too many balls, with the first goal it was more difficult to defend and be offensive.”
