Belgian star, Eden Hazard, is about to find a new club for a final step in his career.
Union Saint-Gilloise is in talks with former Belgian captain Eden Hazard with a view to the latter’s return to competition.
Hazard ready to put on his crampons again?
Hazard is free after terminating his contract with Real Madrid, a year before it expires. The ex-Lille player has not announced his retirement, but he has so far resisted all the requests he has received. And there have been many, particularly from the Middle East and the United States.
The daily AS indicates that the Union Saint-Gilloise is now in contact with the native of La Louvière. The leaders of this training hope to convince the 2011 French champion to put on his crampons again and thus try a first professional experience in his country.
Hazard acknowledged the rumors recently, joking with a quip: “Frankly to have fun, it would be good, I come the first week against Anderlecht and the second against RWDM…! »
As a reminder, Union Saint-Gilloise is one of Toulouse’s opponents in the Europa League. The two teams will face each other on Thursday during the 1e day of the competition.
