Mohamed Simakan contributed to the victory of the RBL on the field of Young Boys (1-3) in the Champions League.

Christopher Nkunku is no longer there, but Leipzig can still count on its French to score goals. It was Mohamed Simakan who put the German club on the path to success on the pitch of Young Boys Bern (1-3), during the first day of the Champions League.

Associated with another Tricolore in the central hinge, in this case Castello Lukeba, the former Strasbourg player opened the scoring in the 3rd minute. The Swiss reacted, and Meschack Elia responded to Simakan’s goal (33rd). It was ultimately Xaver Schlager (73rd) and Benjamin Sesko (90th+2) who gave Leipzig the lead again. This bodes well for the RBL before hosting Manchester City on the next day.
