Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs should soon be back on the bench.
Ryan Giggs, one of the great names of Manchester United, is about to return to service as manager. The Welshman is expected to take the job as Salford City manager.
Giggs in English D4?
Giggs has been unemployed since leaving his post as Wales coach, but is very interested in the news of the League Two club (English D4) of which he is co-owner, explains The Sun.
Giggs is reportedly ready to step in if results do not improve under current manager Neil Wood. The team currently occupies 19th place in their championship with a record of two wins, one draw and five defeats in their first eight matches.
Last year, Salford came close to reaching the top tier. After a great campaign, this team failed in the promotion-relegation play-offs.
As a reminder, Giggs began his coaching career with experience as a temporary worker on the MU bench. This was just after David Moyes was sacked.
