Present at a press conference on the eve of the PSG-Borussia Dortmund clash, Luis Enrique looked back on the start of the season for the reigning French champions. Rather interesting in the game, the capital club displays, for the moment, an overall disappointing balance sheet with a fifth place in L1. A situation which does not worry the new architect of the Rouge et Bleu. “We didn’t start the season very well, but when I arrive at a club it’s always like that. I find that my team is very receptive, it is a team that has a lot of desire and I am delighted with this team. The fans are incredible too, I see it all as a process, I know it’s hard to ask for time, but there will be good football and good results, I’m sure. I don’t worry about the time or not, if the results are bad they will send it back to me, but I’m not worried. My obsession is that my players understand the way I want to play..
And to add: “football life always puts you in your place, but as a person who knows football, I have its goals, I want my players to understand it clearly and as quickly as possible. There are always details to correct, the Nice match has nothing to do with the Dortmund match. PSG has an attitude at the moment, he never lets up, the races are intense, he runs with the ball or without the ball, he plays as I ask and the public is not mistaken.
