The former French international no longer believes in a return to grace for Paul Pogba.
Testing positive for testosterone, Paul Pogba risks being away from the field for a very long time. The French international faces up to four years of suspension for his clumsiness.
Nasri pessimistic for Pogba
Given that he is now 30 years old, it will be very difficult for him to return to the top if he is ever stopped for that long. This is what his former teammate in the selection, Samir Nasri, thinks in particular.
During the Canal Football Club show, the latter confided on Sunday: “I think that the very, very high level will be finished by him. If he is suspended for a year, he will not even be able to train at the club’s facilities for several months. For 10 months, I did absolutely nothing.”

Asked to give his opinion on La Pioche’s error, Nasri brandished the joker: “I understand that the footballer is not aware of all the products, but the doctors are aware or his doctor is completely off the mark. Was he at fault? I don’t know. I don’t know what he was thinking and what he asked the doctor. I don’t think it will take four years.”
And for those who are tempted to compare Pogba’s case with his own, the former Marseille player replied: “I was sick and I had a doctor’s certificate. He was the one who prescribed it to me. For me, it was the dosage that was above and not the nature of the product, which were only vitamins. I had 0 checks, I was the one who provided the analyses. UEFA only sanctioned me for 3 months. And afterwards it was WADA which sanctioned me more heavily. They gave me a year in the end.”
