While he has just played his first match with Al Hilal, Neymar is still diminished by an injury.
Clearly, Neymar is having difficulty launching his adventure in Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian arrived injured in the Gulf. After recovering, he was able to play a first match with his team Al-Hilal. But barely had he set foot on the pitches of the Saudi Pro League when he again contracted a physical problem.
For the Asian C1, Neymar will wait
It was Jorge Jesus, the team’s coach, who announced the bad news on Sunday. The Portuguese coach is currently preparing for his team’s entry into the Asian Champions League against Navbahor and he admitted that the former Parisian was not sure of taking part in this game.
“After today’s training, we will decide which 5 foreign stars will be on the match roster. Neymar and Michael have slight discomfort and we need to make sure they are 100% ready to play the match,” he confided.
As a reminder, Neymar came on during the second half of the match between Al Hilal and Al Riyadh on Friday evening. There were six goals scored by his team. He did not find the net, but he provided a decisive pass.
