Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to take legal action against one of his former clubs, and hopes to recover a big check.

Having gone into exile in Saudi Arabia last winter, where he receives an astronomical salary estimated at 200 million euros per year, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to fight another battle in Europe. According to information from There Gazzetta dello SportCristiano Ronaldo intends to sue Juventus Turin, where he played between 2018 and 2021 before returning to Manchester United.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wishes to recover the tidy sum of 19.9 million euros, specifies the transalpine media. An amount which corresponds to the unpaid salary to the former Madrilenian by the Turin club during the Covid-19 pandemic, during which the main European championships stopped.

The Old Lady then asked their players to make a financial effort. First in 2020, then in 2021, through individual negotiations. His ex-teammate Paulo Dybala, who was in the same situation as the Portuguese star, reached an agreement with Juve and thus recovered nearly 3 million euros.
