Taken out on a stretcher during the meeting between Valencia FC and Atletico Madrid, Thomas Lemar could be seriously injured in his Achilles tendon.

This Saturday afternoon, Valencia faces Atlético de Madrid on the fifth day of La Liga. Shortly before half-time, Thomas Lemar injured himself in the penalty area and was forced to go out on a stretcher.

“Thomas Lemar was evacuated on a stretcher after falling in a bad position during a match and the medical services, during an initial examination, fear a serious injury to the Achilles tendon. Awaiting tests to confirm a definitive diagnosis”communicated Atletico de Madrid on X (formerly Twitter).

If the diagnosis is confirmed, Thomas Lemar’s season will probably be over.
