FC Barcelona temporarily took control of the Spanish championship after its big victory against Betis Sevilla (5-0).

This Saturday evening, FC Barcelona hosted Bétis Sevilla on the occasion of the fifth day of La Liga. The Catalan club confirmed its domination at the start of the match by opening the score before the half-hour mark, thanks to Joao Félix. Well placed in the center 20 meters away, the former Manchester City player hit hard from the right and saw his curled shot end up in the back of the net (3-0, 63rd).

Three minutes later, Raphinha added to the score even though he had just come on. The Brazilian controlled with his sole and scored by closing his left foot (4-0, 66th). Joao Cancelo allowed his team to achieve a victory by scoring with a right shot to the ground (5-0, 81st).

Thanks to this victory, Barça took first place in La Liga. With 13 points on the clock, the Blaugrana are one point ahead of Real Madrid. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s men will have the opportunity to regain their throne on Sunday evening in the event of a victory against Real Sociedad.
