For the next two of the French women’s team, Hervé Renard has decided to recall Amandine Henry, who is out of the 2023 World Cup due to an injury.
Eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2023 World Cup on August 12, on penalties by Australia (0-0, 7 tab to 6), the French team is preparing to return to competition. Indeed, the Blues will play their League of Nations campaign against Portugal on September 22, then against Austria four days later.
For these two matches, Hervé Renard unveiled his list of 25 players this Friday at the start of the afternoon. A list in which Amandine Henry appears in particular, who will make her comeback in the blue jersey, she who had been deprived of the World Cup due to injury. OL defender Griedge Mbock and Parisian Sandy Baltimore were also recalled by the French coach.
