PSG will pay tribute to Marco Verratti at the Parc des Princes

It’s a page that is turning at Paris Saint-Germain. Italian midfielder Marco Verratti leaves the capital club for Qatar, joining Al-Arabi for a check for 45 million euros. The one who was one of the pillars of the PSG version QSI will have played eleven seasons with the residents of the Parc des Princes, notably winning 9 French Championships, 6 French Cups and even 6 League Cups. Present at a press conference, his ex-coach Luis Enrique confirmed a tribute ceremony planned before the reception of OGC Nice on Friday evening, for the opening match of the fifth day of Ligue 1.

“I want to clarify, I have a balanced squad and a lot of very good options in midfield even without Verratti. Besides, I would like to take this opportunity to say that. Marco Verratti will be there tomorrow before the match. This is the opportunity for all the supporters to say goodbye. He has been a very important player of the last decade. I think it will be a special moment for him and his family.” A gesture confirmed by the club on his social networks : “this Friday, at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain will celebrate Marco Verratti during a pre-match ceremony from 8:00 p.m. All supporters are therefore invited to go to the stadium early to salute Marco for his 11 seasons at the club.
