Who will be Germany’s new coach? In recent days, the German Football Association has decided to part ways with Hansi Flick following his poor results at the head of the Nationalmannschaft. The German had been in post since August 2021.

German leaders are therefore looking for a new coach for the coming years but especially for the next Euro in 2024 at home. One candidate seems to be favored by German decision-makers.

According to the media BILD, former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann would be in pole position to succeed Hansi Flick. A time announced close to several European clubs including Paris Saint-Germain this summer, the 36-year-old coach should finally lead the national team.

Rudi Völler would have contacted the German’s advisor in recent hours. Negotiations around salary have even already started.

After TSG Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich, Julian Nagelsmann should experience a fourth challenge at only 36 years old. With Germany his objectives will be very high. He will undoubtedly have to make his team shine and guide them to the European summits.
