A surprising transfer was finalized on the other side of the world this Wednesday.

He had an express passage to the French team, after a sensational entry into the landscape of French football, almost ten years ago. Paul-Georges Ntep can boast of having a very atypical career. Trained at AJ Auxerre, then revealed in Ligue 1 at Stade Rennais, this powerful and impactful winger has traveled a lot, from Germany to Turkey, via Portugal. He will take the plunge by discovering another continent.

As indicated by the newspaper L’Equipe, Paul-Georges Ntep has indeed reached an agreement to sign with a Vietnamese club, Ho Chi Minh City FC. The length of his contract has not been specified. At the age of 31, the striker therefore chooses to discover a new culture while enjoying high-level football. He has been free since the end of his contract at Boavista in 2022.

Beyond his club career, Paul-Georges Ntep has an equally unique journey with national team football since he is one of the rare players to have worn two different national team jerseys. After representing the French team in 2015, the former Auxerrois had accumulated 4 selections with Cameroon from 2018.
