Didier Deschamps explained that Mbappé had felt discomfort in his knee, at the level of the patellar tendon. After a discussion with his number 10, the Blues coach decided to leave him to rest, in anticipation of the busy schedule which awaits the Bondynois with PSG, namely the matches against Nice and OM in Ligue 1, and in the meantime the resumption of the Champions League in Dortmund.
Seeing Mbappé physically affected is not good news for the capital club, but RMC indicates that there is no concern around the Bondynois. He should start at Dortmund, “unless his knee discomfort worsens”adds RMC, which adds a small element of doubt.
Will Mbappé play Friday evening against Nice? It’s possible. Friday evening matches, just after the international windows, are a headache for coaches.
