If Chelsea are having all the trouble in the world finding a new sponsor for this season, this is not the case for Manchester United who are already preparing for the future. After signing a 5-year contract with Team Viewer in 2021, the Mancunian club announced last winter that the partnership between the two parties would end earlier than expected. According to The Telegraphthe Red Devils are preparing to enter a new era and sign a sponsorship contract with Snapdragon.
According to the English tabloid, Manchester United would receive more than €60 million per year by signing with the subsidiary of the American technology company, Qualcomm, and would become the second club in England with the largest sponsorship contract behind the rival, Manchester City. Although the duration of this has not been disclosed, the agreement between the two parties is close and it will come into force before the start of next season. “As part of the expanded agreement, Snapdragon will become the main sponsor of Manchester United from the start of the 2024-2025 season, appearing on the home, away and third kits of the men’s and women’s teams”announced the English team via a press release.
