The prestigious English club aims to recruit Vinicius Jr in the event of the departure of Kylian Mbappé.

Liverpool management have identified Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr as Mohamed Salah’s replacement.

Vinicius Jr, too ambitious a track for Liverpool?

Liverpool have resigned themselves to losing Salah to the Saudi Pro League in 2024 and are now considering replacing him with another world-class player. According to The Athletic, Vinicius is among a list of candidates including Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo and Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Vini Jr feels very comfortable with the Merengue, where he has all the support necessary to be the main reference in attack this season. For this reason, it would be surprising to see the Brazilian consider a departure elsewhere.

In addition, the arrival of Kylian Mbappé from PSG should not change Vini’s status next year. Liverpool’s chances of achieving their goals on this issue therefore appear very slim.
