L’Equipe Internet users did not like Didier Deschamps’ choices on Tuesday evening for the Germany-France friendly match.
After having done the work against Ireland (2-0) to get closer to qualifying for Euro 2024, the France team punctuated this international window with a defeat in Germany (2-1), at the following a disappointing performance.
In defense of the Blues, the most important match was indeed the one against Ireland, and for the second meeting Didier Deschamps had to reshuffle his team composition, taking into account the states of form of everyone, granting including rest for Kylian Mbappé. But the fact remains that the coach’s choices were not winning. In any case, they did not convince L’Equipe Internet users.
Among the four worst scores awarded, we find the new central hinge aligned by Didier Deschamps, with Jean-Clair Todibo (3.1/10) and William Saliba (3.5). The other two players are the two elements lacking competition that the coach still chose to start, Benjamin Pavard (3.3) and Randal Kolo Muani (3.4).
Among the other players who did not convince, we can add Adrien Rabiot (4.4/10), who was aligned in an unusual left midfielder role in a 4-4-2. Another choice from Didier Deschamps which did not pay off.
