Free since March 24 and his dismissal by Bayern Munich, Julian Nagelsmann was not completely free. In fact, the 36-year-old coach had not received a redundancy bonus, but received his salary monthly until he found a club. From then on, he had to come to an agreement with the Recorder to terminate his contract as soon as he wanted to start a new adventure. This is imminent. While he is strongly expected to join the German selection, Julian Nagelsmann could quickly arrive.

This Tuesday, Bild announces that Bayer Munich has agreed to release Julian Nagelsmann from his contract so that he can join the German team. If his contract with the Bavarians runs until 2026, Bayern Munich is not against termination. The German club would not have requested transfer fees from the Federation with a view to national importance. On the other hand, the Recorder just asks that the termination costs of the last three years of Julian Nagelsmann’s contract (around 20 million euros) be covered by the German Federation. If the latter accepts, it will also be necessary to reach an agreement with the young German coach.
