A former Ballon d’Or winner has admitted to having a soft spot for the French Inter striker.

Former great Italian footballer Fabio Cannavaro is convinced that French striker Marcus Thuram will have a great career at Inter Milan.

“The fans will love Marcus Thuram”

The French striker, who arrived this summer, is the son of former Juventus and Parma defender Lilian Thuram. Cannavaro has evolved with the latter and it is certain that the offspring will follow the same path.

The 2006 Ballon d’Or declared to the transalpine press: “I’m happy that Marcus is in Italy. He is a strong player who will amuse Italian fans, especially Inter fans.”

Thuram, who arrived free from Moenchengladbach during the summer, has already played three matches with the Nerazzurri, all in the starting role. He scored a goal and an assist. Particularly encouraging debut in Serie A.
