Luis Rubiales has resigned from his post as president of the Spanish Football Federation, with his back against the wall in the forced kiss affair.
Three weeks after forcing player Jennifer Hermoso to kiss her on the mouth, Luis Rubiales resigned on Sunday from his post as president of the Spanish Football Federation.
A very late decision, think the majority of followers of this affair which broke out a few minutes after La Roja’s victory in the final of the Women’s World Cup.

The 46-year-old leader slipped during the presentation of the medals and the trophy. While Luis Rubiales denied any bad intention and the forced nature of his action, Jennifer Hermoso filed a complaint.
The player’s action only strengthened the preliminary investigation opened by the Spanish prosecutor’s office at the end of August for alleged sexual assault.
Fifa, for its part, suspended Luis Rubiales from his chair as boss of Spanish football.
