Guardiola ready for a change of scenery
Guardiola has seen his name circulating in the tabloids as a potential successor to Gareth Southgate as head of the English national team. For a while, he was also cited for Brazil. Leading a country is a mission that he would not displease and he has finally recognized it.
“I would like to be coach of a national team. This will happen because every three days I would like to be involved, but a little more calmly, playing more golf, because now I don’t have time to play. Sooner or later it will happen, if I have a chance with an international team, if they come knocking on my door”did he declare.
Guardiola has been in charge of Manchester City since the 2016/2017 season. He has already won everything with this team, but he continues to remain loyal to it. It’s even the formation with which he has stayed the longest since the start of his coaching career.
