While Juventus and Dusan Vlahovic were very close to a separation during the last summer transfer window, the Serbian striker ultimately remained in Turin. If Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have positioned themselves on the former Fiorentina player, the 23-year-old player has decided to continue his adventure with the Old Lady. Author of two goals and an assist in three Serie A matches, the native of Belgrade has had a great start to the season with the Bianconeri. Performances that did not go unnoticed in Piedmont. Indeed, the Turin management has decided to extend its Serbian striker despite a contract that is still quite long, which will expire in June 2026, and increasing (from 7 to 10 million with peaks at 12.5 during the last season).

According to our Italian colleagues from the Gazzetta dello Sport, the meeting with Dusan Vlahovic’s agent is scheduled for the month of October and the leaders of Juventus are already considering a renewal for an additional season (until 2027 therefore) in order to spread part of the player’s salary over this duration. A contractual solution which could then be renewed for other Bianconeri like Adrien Rabiot even if for the Frenchman, whose contract expires at the end of the current season, a longer extension is even more envisaged. Finally, Wojciech Szczęsny is also concerned by this approach by the Piedmontese management. To be continued…
