Thanks to Eugénie Le Sommer scoring and assisting, OL won the Trophée des champions against PSG (2-0) on Sunday in Troyes.

French women’s football celebrated its return to school on Sunday with the Trophée des champions and OL took the opportunity to win a third edition in a row, against PSG (2-0), at the Stade de l’Aube in Troyes. Eugénie Le Sommer, after her beautiful World Cup with 3 goals for the French women’s team, launched her season perfectly by being involved in the two goals of Fenottes.

“ELS” made the cross on the opener Melchie Dumornay (35th). The 20-year-old Haitian prodigy, after two seasons at Stade de Reims, is the other big summer recruit for Olympique Lyonnais with Kadidiatou Diani, who faced his former team this Sunday. In the second half, Le Sommer deflected a shot from Lindsey Horan for the break goal (68th).

Le Sommer, 34, is still the top scorer in the club’s history, with this 288th achievement (ahead of Ada Hegerberg, last minute withdrawal for this Trophée des champions). She was French champion 12 times, winner of the Champions League 8 times and won 9 French Cups.
