Good news for OM

The last day of the CAN qualifiers was fatal to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Gabon and Geoffrey Kondogbia’s Central African Republic. OM will not complain about it.

Olympique de Marseille awaits with some fear the next African Cup of Nations, which should deprive the Phocaeans of numerous elements (Sarr, Harit, Ounahi, Mbemba, Ndiaye, etc.).

However, the situation will be less worse than expected, because Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Gabon and Geoffrey Kondogbia’s Central African Republic did not make it through to the qualifiers.

During the 6th day, Gabon, with Aubameyang starting, lost in Mauritania (2-1), while the Central African Republic, without Kondogbia (injured), lost in Ghana (2-1) on a goal from the new Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah.
